Finally got some time to update my xanga....
I have settled in LSE well and got to know so many people here. There are lot of students coming from Hong Kong this year, and my hall on his own has over 30 HK residents haha~~Lectures have started already and I really love the politics ones. I can tell you I do enjoy the course very much, although the reading list is as long as the toilet roll:) Learning Plato at the moment and his way of thinking is very inspiring~~~also learning the general political system and this is absolutely fantastic. I hope there will be more stuff like this coming~~I am also taking an economics module and a maths and stats module..not as easy as I expected but hope I can cope with them~~ Met a couple who lives on my floor who comes from Shanghai. They work for "Sun Wa Sei"-the chinese official press and they are coming for a master degree. They are really nice and I always talk to them so as to improve my PTH and I find this way very useful indeed. We have also discussed many things about China and Hong Kong haha~~~intellectual exchange~~~~~haha~~~ Things here in London are terribly expensive and you can't really buy much with HKD60, but still have to keep the expenses as low as possible~~Luckily Jeff Lee is here and he is just a perfect cook~~Tonight I went to his hall and he cooked a meal for me, Jonthan (Lau) and his friend Kelvin. It was just gorgeous and now I will go to his hall every friday haha~~~just can't resist the temptation........ I've been back to colchester and coincidently that night was the opening evening. I was able to see most of the teachers and friends, except for Mr. Wallace and Dr. Stimson. Now I have realised that I miss everything and everyone in colchester SO MUCH!!! I really want to go back to the time when I was in CRGS, and it is so unforgettable and dear to me~When I read the entries from my colchester mates, they all have the same feeling as me and I can tell you I will never forget EVERYONE and EVERYTHING that is related to colchester.....two years of tears and laughters, two years of hard work, two years of friendship............they all mean something to me~~ Also thanks for all my WY mates who let me have a wonderful summer holiday~~~you guys are also very dear to me and I treasure our friendship VERY MUCH~~Sometimes the pictures of the moment when we were in WY flow in my mind..they look so real and concrete...time will never "dilute" our friendship~~ Starting a new life in a new world with so many new people around me gives me a mixture of feelings....Not sure if it is good or bad and time will prove everything..Anyway, wish everyone good luck in their studies, work, application to UNIs, etc. If you come to London, come and look for me and I shall host you~~haha~also I can use webcam now so if anyone's got it, have a chat with me on the internet~~cheers~ |
